I am Prashant Ranjan, my wife Swati Priyadarshini had a pain in her right wrist and we booked an appointment of Dr. Kamal Dureja (Orthopedic Surgeon) and Dr. Dureja 011 2760 1977 - adviced my wife a medicine and bandage in her wrist for 7days.
After 7 days on 10th May, there was no relief in pain and we visited to the private clinic (South City Medi centre) of Dr. Kamal Dureja. After X-ray done, Dr. Dureja told me that my wife has cancer and it is not easy to be cure. I was shocked by this news and sat down on floor with tears in eyes near him. But he continued, “inform your parents and asked them to be with you”. I asked about further tests, but he said “don’t you believe my words?”
Dr. Dureja asked me to get admitted in Max hospital Saket, for a day on 11th May at 0830am for the test done and consult with Oncologist. At the admission counter, it was asked me to get admitted for 2 days and an estimate of INR 50,000 given to me. I submitted INR 5000 and informed the details of corporate medical insurance. We shifted in room at 1000hrs and my wife MRI was booked for 1530, we kept waiting and just one nurse attended to take blood sample. MRI was done after so many follow up and complaint at 1830 on 11th may, and no tests done after that.
Dr Dureja never visit to see my wife in hospital. the mental trauma we had for 2 days. these doctors are sales agent of hospitals and no humanity for patients. my request to take some action, atleast poor people who don't have money and visit these doctors after seiling off their jewelry and land for their treatment. but these doctors cheat them.
