The worst hospital in the Siliguri Town having a huge building with 250 beds multi speciality hospital with 5 operating theatres,30 bed Intensive care unit and big parking facility, 24×7 Emergency with no stretchers in ready position that is NEOTIA GETWELL HEALTHCARE CENTRE.
on 25th of July 2018 after knowing from my local doctor that my sister Mamta Mittal, patient had a brain hemorrhage we immediately rushed to Neotia getwell health care centre siliguri with a CT scan.There was no one to take the patient to the emergency and as I entered the hospital for asking emergency and showed the CT scan to the doctor on emergency duty Dr.Sourav Kumar ,after observing the CT scan told me it's an ICU case ,first of all you know about the charges of the ICU instead of bringing the patient to the emergency, no stretchers were found there and when I was uncontrolled seeing their behavior and shouted at them they replied me saying 5-6 patients recently came so we have no stretchers ready.They took about half an hour to bring out the patient from ambulance to emergency. Unsatisfied with their such behavior I phoned to Dr.Siddhiraj Sharma baral of North Bengal Neuro Center in pradhan nagar .He told me to bring the patient to the hospital and said everything is in system you just bring, then after I asked Dr. Sourav Kumar to discharge my patient and make the bill as soon as possible. They have used 6 medicines and asked me to bring the medicines from their pharmacy,as each and every moment was precious that time to me. I requested them to pay the medicine bill at the counter, they refused me saying it's our system you have to bring the medicines. Hang up with their systems when one of us went to their pharmacy only 2 of the medicines were available at their pharmacy and once again I shouted at them and they finally billed for remaining 4 medicines.
It's an completely business minded hospital, with very poor management system and no humanity at all.whoever read this review as in charge of the hospital I would like to say we are humans so we prefer humanity to be shown in the hospital a patient bought with such a critical condition should be at least taken to the emergency as soon as possible.
I think the biggest problem with health care today is not it's cost - which is a big problem but for all that money its not an expression of our humanity.
Thanks God.After the successful operation by Dr.S.K.Sahu (Radiologist) now she is out of danger.
