I gave booking amount of Rs. 1 Lac to Dinesh Ranka & Associates (DRA) Builder for booking a unit & document verification. Later I found missing height clearance NOC. So I cancelled my booking and asked for booking amount. DRA Team replied that booking amount is forfeited. Then due written complaint to DRA Chairman, DRA Team returned me Rs. 75,000/-, deduction of rest amount for marketing+legal charges.
Against same I filed Consumer Case CC/2026/2016 which was not accepted by Bangalore 1st Additional Forum (District Court). With due respect of Hon'ble Judge, I was not allowed to argue during Admission of my case. I didn't get chance to explain facts. Not sure if my case was rejected as I took partial amount from Opposite Party (DRA), as I filed case to get justice against untrustworthiness of Opposite Party to get remaining balance.
As an individual salaried tax payer, even I don't have option to show loss of amount, which is deducted by Opposite Party with random reason.
