I had ordered 2 Cadbury Dairymilk Crackle from Big Basket on 16th January 2018.
On 16th I opened a pack and ate from it. I felt a bitter taste all along but trusting the quality of chocolate, I assumed it was in my head. Then I saw a oil type thing on the cover and tried to taste that. It was the same bitter taste.
Well, I called them and complained about the quality, the lady on the phone took a few details and told me to retain the wrapper. I did retain the wrapper. And she assured immediate action and testing. I believed her.

But when I didn't hear from their team from long, I dropped them a Facebook message explaining the situation. I was told that since I don't have the sample of the chocolate they can't really do anything. Well I believed them and decided to let go. And opened the second packet still lying in my fridge, only to find the same grease type coating on this one too. And same bitter taste. Now I have the sample that they were looking for and the wrapper. And yet they don't have answers, as to who is responsible for this lapse. It's the food industry, people can get sick and die because of negligence. And in every advertisement they'll try to assure you of their quality and standards. Yet we as consumers get grease coated chocolates.
