Respected Mam/ Sir,
I didn't get the refund of Rs. 2999 from the last 8 months from ICICI bank.
I have purchased a product from Amazon on 15 December 2018(Tagg Sports Plus Bluetooth Earphones With Mic-Black) & later returned it to the seller (under the warranty period of 1year) on 2nd Aug 2019 after telling him the issues I faced. The seller approved my refund through Amazon. The Amazon has also initiated the refund process on 5th August 2019 & given a refund reference number-834915625392.
Since then I'm continuously sending emails to ICICI customer support/senior management, calling them over and again but no one is solving this issue. Sometimes they say that this transaction is not showing in our records or other times that this RRN is not valid or there should be another RRN. Like this, 8 months have passed, every time I ask about my refund, they assign a different person to answer my email/call & that person again ask the same details & do nothing about it. I have raised this issue to ICICI senior management also. But no one is actually helping me out. I have sent them tweets/emails/calls everything that was in my reach but nothing has been done so far.
I raised the issue against ICICI bank in RBI Ombudsman on 12 September 2019 for my refund & related compensation. A few days back I got the call from the RBI office saying that they are working but the bank is denying.
I request you to please help me to get back my money along with the compensation of these 8 months that has caused so much mental pain & my continuous efforts. It's the bank's mistake, not mine but I'm paying for it. It's the consumer's right to get compensation if the bank delays the refund of any online transaction within 30 days. I hope the consumer court will help me to get back my money & do not cheat on me as the bank did. I will be thankful to you people.
