Following is a case of a Passenger being Cheated and missing the Airlines for Her First ever Flight Journey from Bangalore to Kolkata By Indigo Airline on 28 Aug 2016 at 6:20am .

Degree of Urgency to go to Kolkata: The Passenger Husband(My Father) is in very chronic situation of Health due to which he was admitted to Hospital . SInce No one else is there to take care of my father she need to reach Kolkata ASAP. Flight being the best Option and Indigo Being the smartest of it I booked My Mothers Ticket in it.
Case History:
My Mother Reached Kempegowda International Airport Banglore , at 5:15 am despite being Checked-in through Website the day prior.The situation being Tensed and also being the first flyer ever in an Airline ,she was very much tensed . She accordingly moved into the Queue.The time was 5:20am .
Only a Single queue was allowed with a Single counter being opened for 5 Different Destination flights from Indigo(Why?????).When her Turn came up , They told your time is OUT and we cannot check in your luggage(Why?????).They Asked to Re-ticket for the Next flight by Paying Extra 5500INR(WHY????).My Father is in hospital right now and she has gone through Train with a Journey of almost 30 Hrs. Hope you understand the Pain...Who will pay the price if something happens to My Father and also my Mother .Indigo or Department of Civil Aviation.
Request to DGCA: Strict Action Against Indigo and Ask Indigo for a Refund in Form of Penalty for ticket Price and a Penalty to a Sum of 10000INR
Request to Indigo : Kindly DO NOT HARASS YOUR PASSENGERS (A FEMALE OF 50YRS).HOPE YOU WILL UNDERSTAND.
