Refund delayed even after 8 months of cancellation

It's been around 8 months I am still waiting for refund
Airline has given confirmation on email that refund amount has been processed
One of make my trip representative state that it should be refunded till now on my card
When stated not received, asked for statement copies and sent
After that 20 emails and daily call to make my trip and every time same answer, working with backend time and no clarity
That representative has not answered yet
Please do let me know how many months I need to wait more and what actions mmt is taking over this. Is go first telling lie or mmt is not updated correctly. For sure, someone is doing unethical
