PayTM unlawfully deducting I tried placing an order on Freshmenu through PayTM.

On the 3rd of jan, I tried placing an order on Freshmenu through PayTM. The freshmenu website asked me to link my PayTM Account which I did. I had close to ₹ 600 in my PayTM wallet, while the bill amount was only close to ₹250. Despite that, my PayTM account on Freshmenu website showed balance as ₹0 while the PayTM app was still showing balance as ₹600.
I connected with Freshmenu care team and they informed that due to technical errors from PayTM’s end the issue is there. They advised me to use debit/credit card for the same. I made the payment using my Citi bank debit card.
But,
Somehow, my PayTM account also got debited by the same amount.
I have been following up with paytm ever since and they have been ignoring my complaints ever since.
ALSO,
There is a practice amongst PayTM employees to ask for the customer’s card details. I think this practice should be seriously looked into and last I checked, even RBI guidelines ask you NEVER to ask/share card details.
How are the employees asking for customers’ card details then?
