Sir , Since new Chip Debit card is being issued as per RBI guidelines , my existing Debit Card blocked without even dispatching the new Chip card ..spent nearly an hour at the bank & on phone with ICICI Bank Customer care.. Says blocked card cannot be un blocked .. ICICI bank issues me a Chip card , which they never dispatch , unblock my existing card without my consent ..I cant do any transaction because online transactions require Grid nos of new CHIP card ( which i dont have) ..Cant withdraw money from ATM because card is blocked ... Have bills to pay ..Money in Bank but cant do anything ... Real mental trauma ,,Had to go to Nearest Branch , & push to transfer money to my Axis bank ..Really disturbed that Banks take decisions unilaterally to block cards on their own .. Complaint lodged but no one listening
