Below is the brief description about the harrassment I received through Goibibo and it's partners.
Hotel name :- Oyo Sumedha Joshi
Date :- 7 Aug ( check in ) 8 Aug (Check out)
Area selected in Goibibo app :- Pimple Saudagar
Distance shown in App :- 2.7 Km
Actual distance from pimple Saudagar :- 8 KM's.
Area of hotel :- Balewadi ( flooded area in Pune )
Resolution requested :- Alternate stay arrangment as it was the fault of the app and the hotel was in Flooded area.
Response received :- No help for 2 days, asked to book a different hotel altogether.
Incident 2 :- Booked Oyo Sai Inn post the issue with Oyo Sumedha Joshi Pune.
Arrival time :- 11-11:30 Pm
Amount paid :- ₹967 (twice as much as Oyo Sumedha Joshi)
Concern :- Hotel did not allow the check in and demanded extra money.
Awareness raised :- Informed Goibibo right away, by 11:30-12:00AM.
Resolution offered :- None, Kept asking for 10-15 mins on every call.
Problems face :- Was out on road without a place of shelter till 1:30AM while it was raining heavily in a flooded city untill I did a walk in check in, since they did not allow me to check in with the Goibibo booking.
Goibibo promise :- A call back from the Escalation manager by 12PM on 8th Aug ( Promised by Mr. Akram from Escalation team )
Received no response from Goibibo, had to call them and request for a response, after which they called and asked for 24hours to provide a suitable resolution.
Present date :- 11Aug
No response received, called customer service on 10th Aug and asked for an update, no response what so ever.
