Sir, few days ago my father has lost his phone with Airtel Sim card, so that i did contact to Airtel Customer Care to block the sim card & to know how get a airtel sim card with the same number (9862026929). They told me the procedure & also said that i have to get it for Rs.25. After a day my father has gone to nearest Airtel Store (not ordinary shop) to get a new sim card & they charged Rs.50 for this. After a little argument they said that they wants benifit, without benifit they will not give the sim card. When i again did contact to Airtel Customer Care they said that they have a fixed charge for this & i.e. Rs.25, it's not legal to charge more than this amount, they also said that they can't do anything with my complain & suggested me to write here in Jago Grahak Jago. Giving them extra ₹25 is not a big amount can pay, but taking there extra ₹25 is not legal.please give them a lesson.
