I have a Vodafone number which is from Maharashtra & goa circle(Except Mumbai). In 2013 I had moved to Mumbai and requested Vodafone to activate the service "Roam like home" which would not bring Mumbai under roaming and all services would be charged same as local services(like in Pune). The problem occured when Vodafone deactivated "roam like home" without my request and without my knowledge. They didn't even send me a notification to tell me that my service is deactivated and I am in roaming in Mumbai and all services would be charged as per roaming charges. I was expecting a bill of 1200-1300 but I got a bill of 5200 because of this issue. I have tried all possible ways to get this resolved with Vodafone but nothing worked, they always try to push me that the bill is correct and no body tells me why the service was deactivated without my request and how am I responsible for the bill. Please help me in this regard. I had paid an amount of 1800 in the bill and as the rest of the amount is not correct I do not want to pay it. As of now , vodafone has deactivated my phone and I had no choice but to take another number.Now the situation is that total amount paid by me is 3000 and total pending which is in dispute is 4589 Rupees.
