MY FATHER HAS TAKEN A HOME LOAN OF 1100000.THIS WAS DISBURSED IN 4 INSTALLMENTS,LAST INSTALLMENT WAS PAID ON 4TH SEP 2014.MY FATHER IS HAVING A SALARY ACCOUNT IN SYNDICATE BANK,ON BEHALF OF WHICH LOAN WAS SANCTIONED,AT THAT TIME MANAGER TOLD THAT EMI WILL BE DEDUCTED FROM YOUR ACCOUNT AFTER COMPLETE DISBURSAL OF LOAN AMOUNT,BUT IT WAS NOT DEDUCTED AUTOMATICALLY,DUE TO SOME MEDICAL EMERGENCY MY FATHER ALSO COULD NOT CHECK,BUT WHEN MY FATHER HIMSELF FOUND THAT EMI IS NOT DEDUCTING TILL OCTOBER 2015, MY FATHER WENT TO BANK,AND FOUND NEW MANAGER,MY FATHER TOLD HIM THAT EMI IS NOT DEDUCTING ,SO HE TOLD THAT FROM NOVEMBER 2015 EMI WILL BE DEDUCTED.FIRST TWO MONTH 15000 MONTH EMI WAS DEDUCTED,AFTER WHICH 14121 EMI STARTED TO DEDUCT FROM MY FATHER SALARY ACCOUNT.BUT IN FEB 2019 WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE REMAINING LOAN AMOUNT,I FOUND THAT MORE THAN 1100000 PRINCIPAL AMOUNT REMAINING AMOUNT,WHEN I CHECKED FROM BANK I FOUND THAT THEY HAVE ADDED 177000 INTEREST AMOUNT CHARGED TILL OCTOBER 2015,WITH OUT INFORMING MY FATHER . FOR BANK FAULT WHY MY FATHER SHOULD SUFFER .I HAVE GONE BANK MANY TIMES,NO ONE IS TELLING HOW THIS INTEREST AMOUNT IS GENERATED,AND WHY MY FATHER WAS NOT INFORMED ABOUT THIS AMOUNT,I GOT NO PHONE MESSAGE OR NOTICE FOR EMI DEDUCTION. IN-SPITE OF HAVING SALARY ACCOUNT WITH BRANCH.AND CHARGED WITH TWO YEARS INTEREST IN ADVANCE,THIS WAS ALSO NOT INFORMED TO MY FATHER AT THE TIME OF LOAN( NOW ALSO MY FATHER WILL NOT BE BENEFITED IN FORECLOSURE AS ALREADY 2 YEAR INTEREST IN ADVANCE ,HE WAS TOLD THAT HE HAVE TO PAY AROUND 1700000 WITH INTEREST,BUT NOW MY FATHER HAS TO PAY AROUND 23 LAKH .MY FATHER IS A GOVERNMENT EMPLOY,THIS 600000 AMOUNT IS VERY MUCH HEADACHE FOR HIM AND WHOLE FAMILY,MY FATHER HAS BECOME A PATIENT OF HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE.AND WHY HE SHOULD PAY THIS AMOUNT.BANK MANAGER IS NOT LISTENING TO ME OR MY FATHER ,MY FATHER WILL RETIRE IN 1.5 YEARS,HOW MY FATHER WILL BE PAYING 14121 EMI TILL 2029.HE IS VERY STRESSED DUE TO ALL THIS,BANK IS NOT HELPING ME OR MY FATHER IN ANYWAY,ON CALLING CUSTOMER CARE THEY ARE SAYING THAT THEY CAN NOT HELP IN HOME LOAN,AND BRANCH IS NOT HELPING ME OR MY FATHER .IN ONLINE NET BANKING ALSO NO INTEREST RATE IS MENTIONED ,AND I CAN NOT SEE PREVIOUS LOAN EMI DETAILS. NEITHER THEY ARE GIVING ME LOAN FILE PHOTOCOPY.AND MANAGER HAS RETURNED MY APPLICATION OF ASKING LOAN FILE PHOTOCOPY,AND WHEN I ASK SIGN AND TELL ME THE REASON,HE SAID DO WHATEVER YOU CAN DO.ALSO WHEN ASKED WHY INTEREST RATE IS NOT REDUCED MANAGER IS TELLING THAT MY FATHER WILL NOT BE GETTING REDUCED RATE OF INTEREST,WITH NO REASON.PLEASE HELP ME,AS MY FATHER IS VERY STRESSED WITH ALL THIS,AND ALSO HIS AGE IS 58 YEARS,SO I WANT THAT IT SHOULD BE SETTLED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I HAVE ALSO MAILED AT syndcare@syndicatebank.co.in ON MAY 20 2019, BUT NO REPLY TILL NOW.from consumer forum also no satisfactory reply.
