One of my friend send me herbal medicine through DTDC courier on 6th October. The package landed in Hyderabad on 9th October. But the courier kept moving the package around 3 locations. As of today it is still happening. I had to postpone my journey on 13th october waiting for this package. I decided to leave without it as I had exams. I told them this but they still are not delivering. I know for a fact this is festival season. So on 13th October, I called Mehdipatnam branch myself as the customer care person told me nobody is answering phone from the branch. So after calling them multiple times over an hour I realized they dont answer and found a number(09100039845) through a different branch. The person that answered the call told me they would deliver my courier to Bandlaguda Jagir Branch next day so that I can pick it up. But nothing happened, they didn't call me or anything. Called and mailed the company's customer support but still nothing happened. Next day (14 October) called the same person and told him I need it urgently as I was leaving. He told me he would send it by 7:30PM to Bandlaguda Jagir branch. I told him I don't have a personal vehicle and busses stop servicing my area at 8:00, so he said he would make sure to send the package to the branch earlier. He also told me he would call me once the package reaches the branch. So I kept waiting for a call but no sound came out of my phone. See as I told you earlier I don't have a personal vehicle. After their inability to honor the delivery of the package I was okay with going to the branch to collect the package using public transport spending extra money. But they constantly keep lying and wasting my time. After all this I had to leave without my medicine. I want the company punished for refusing to honor delivery and compensation for all the time I spent on writing emails and calls. Especially, the person that operates the number 09100039845. He constantly kept lying to me over call. Assuring me it would reach the closest branch.
The package is under my father's name (Krishna Rao .P). I assumed it would be shipped later date to him. And he would send it to me later. But that didn't happen.
Today is 24 october. No action is taken from them. I registered a complaint on consumerhelpl ine.gov.in. grievance no:3029762. No action has been taken, from the courier or from the authority I reported to. I want compensation for spending 3 weeks of my time waiting for them to deliver, and also for spending time in writing emails and calls.
