Sub: Air Conditioners Complaint to Consumer Court
Sir,
I, Purchased 12 Air Conditioners of Whirlpool Company from dealer M/s Modern Electronics, Shop No. 1350/11, near Mata Chugan Chowk, Najafgarh Road, Bahadurgarh, Haryana. I paid advance cheques of Rs.360000/- (Rs.200000/- dated 15/06/2018 and Rs.160000/- dated 07/07/2018). On my persistence for GST Bill, Agency Gave me bill of Rs. 359996/- dated 10/08 2018 but did not mentioned the details of 12 Air Conditioners. In spite of my repeated requests agency has failed to give the serial numbers of air conditioners. Mr Rinku who was representing the M/s Modern Electronics told me that they are authorised service centre and will attend all maintenance of air Conditioners. Out of 12 Ai conditioners, 7 Air Conditioners were never made truly function. I repeatedly called Mr Rinku who told me that parts are awaited from Whirlpool Company. For last one month Mr Rinku has stopped picking my phone.
On being frustrated, I myself noted down the Serial No. of ACs Inner Units and complained online to Whirlpool Company. The Technician of the company Visited on 8th June 2019 and took copy of Bill and serial No. of ACs installed in my house. He also inspected outer units. The Authorised service provider informed me that inner unit are of Whirlpool Company and outer units are not provided by Whirlpool. Therefore, Outer units are not covered under warrantee. I will have to pay the charges if I get their services to make 7 Air Conditioners functional. It is clear that M/s Modern Electronics has made a fraud by installing duplicate outer units and not making 7 air conditioner functional since beginning
It is prayed that Hon’ble Court may please get the Amount of Rs.360000/- (There Lakh Sixty Thousand only) refunded to me from M/s Modern Electronics and fine the agency appropriately so that it doesn’t do any fraud in future.
