Hotel Not Giving Refund for Cancellation

I had booked a hotel (Oland Plantation in Coonoor, http://www.olandplantation.com/) for 2 nights (4th & 5th August, 2016) through the website www.goibibo.com. Due to illness I had to cancel my trip. So I cancelled my booking on 29th July, 2016, that is one week before the check-in dates.
The hotel has refused to offer any refund citing hotel policies. The website (www.goibibo.com) says that they cannot do anything as it is hotel policy.
In the absence of any National hotel & restaurant policy, these oragnisations have created anti-consumer policies.
Please help me get my refund from this hotel and the website.
