Issued Challan without proper clarification, Add. DCP and Sub Inspector

Dear Sir/Madam,
I, G. Harshavardhan Reddy, student lives in S.R Nagar. I was driving towards Chikkadapally on some emergency by my bike Royal Enfield. Traffic police stopped me near Asif Nagar Tr PS, Masab Tank and made me inconvenient. They issued me a challan of 1000/- Rs. (challan number: HYD28TE195325924)for compounding offence as they claimed that my bike produces loud exhaust noise. I am really not sure how did they measure the sound produced by my bike without using any sound level meter instrument. By just looking at my changed silencer, they decided that my bike definitely produce lot of noise. Even though I have tried to explain them that my bike produce noise within the RTO guidelines which is less than 120 decibels, but it did it help, asked me to go and complain to DCP. Then, I have contacted Add. DCP, Mr. Anil kumar along with my bike and requested him for the clarification. He failed in responding to my request and on top of that he threatened me that many other criminal cases also can be booked based on this reason and also told me that inspector charged only 1000/- Rs. He also tried to defend the inspector who issued the challan. Here the situation is, I do not know how much noise is my bike really producing and how far it is really threat to the public. It is pain for me to pay such huge challans every time without proper clarifications. And the traffic police, the way they respond with public, it definitely won’t create healthy environment between police and public. There are many people who are suffering with these issues and blindly paying huge penalties without addressing these issues to higher authorities. Kindly do justice to me.
