I am Vidit Midha from Nilokheri, Haryana 132117. I own a MI Redmi Prime 2 Order ID: OD104183034513945000, IMEI/Serial No: 867935027359644, Invoice Date: 26-10-2015, Order Date: 16-10-2015 from the website flipkart.com. On 24/3/2016 my phone switched off unexpectedly when I tried to make a call. I tried to switch it on by removing and then inserting the battery but nothing happened. The very moment I called Xiaomi Costumer Care and they told me to go to nearest service center which is Tara Tele And Mobile which is situated 25km from my house in Karnal 132001. They told me to come again in evening on same day. I was told that the motherboard of my phone is burnt and out of repair. They would replace it for Rs 2100 since they they don't provide warranty for any issues regarding motherboard. I went to home and checked the details on the warranty card and even on the website I found out that any such thing specifically for motherboard was not mentioned. Then I again tried to convince them but they didn't help me.
I am student from a middle class family studying in an engineering college. I lost all my notes and important files due to which I wasn't able to study for my exams. I lost all my contacts too. I brought this very first phone from my father's hard earned money and due to the inconvenience caused by the Xiaomi Costumer Support I am in a state of depression and insomnia. Due to all the above mentioned circumstances I am having severe losses such as my medical conditions has worsened, I am not able to study.
I am very much unhappy with the worst service provided to me. I hope my problem will be solved as soon as possible with proper compensation. If in any case my phone is not repaired free of cost since it is within a warranty period, then unfortunately I have to file as case in Consumer Court and District High Court with every possible compensation for the inconvenience caused by Xioami and for the loss in my health and wealth and my education, my degree.
