On 20.08.2019 I and my Father (aged about 67+) visited Titan showroom at 269/1, B.T. Road, Kolkata-36. We have chosen one Watch, we have paid Rs.2305/- via Debit Card.
When we gave the watch to do the chain adjustment, they gave it very loose. My father politely said It is very loose and I do not wear this type of watch kindly adjust it again. Then they said they cannot adjust it more. We have to take it like this.
The billing counter person was very rude, he said now people wear loose watch, my father said I am about 67+ I cannot wear this kind of watch.
Then I said okay because the bill is already paid, please show me some more watches of the same range, then the person said if it is loose then every watch will be loose.
Then I said, okay fine, then please initiate my refund. Then the person said I can void the bill but cannot guarantee you the return of money. Then I said it is impossible if I am paying something and you return it then why the money will not come back to my account. He started misbehaving with my father in the presence of other customers. He is a senior citizen, they should maintain the decorum and customer relationship atleast. My father faced mental agony and harrasment.
Then I said okay show me some more watch. Then I have taken one more watch which is of Rs.2061/- Then I said to refund me the balance amount, but he said they will not do that. Moreover, they said me to buy something with that balance. I said I do not want to buy anything.
Then they forced me to buy a worst deo of Rs.399 and forced me to pay extra 154 Rupees.
I have been cheated and humiliated by the store staffs. Kindly look into this matter.
