Cleartrip is the worst flight booking website I have ever witnessed. I was a very frequent user since last month but after purchasing ticket in their flexi fare last time, I made sure that I would never make any reservations from cleartrip from now onwards.
I booked a flight through cleartrip having trip ID:
190711905658, flight from Delhi to Nagpur. As per the flexi fare policy, I can amend my date free of cost for which I paid extra also at the time of booking. For some reason I had to change my date and was glad that Luckily I opted for flexi fare but then I get to know that cleartrip has booked my flight under normal fare from their end which they admitted was their mistake as I paid for flexi fare, got flexi documents and a mail also from cleartrip stating their mistake and assurance of refund. I had to speak with the customer care for 3.5 hrs. I was told to pay for the new ticket for new date and was given assurance that I will receive the refund for the earlier ticket. I did so. One day prior to my flight, I see that cleartrip has not booked a new flight only for me and in the trips section it has no new booking. So basically, My payment for the first ticket went waste and so did the second. After several calls to customer care all I get to hear is that your refund will be processed in 48 hrs or our senior will contact you. It’s been 50 days today. There is no refund for any of my tickets. Cleartrip is liable to provide me compensation for both my tickets and the loss of hotel bookings I incurred due to this mistake of cleartrip. There is no value of the customer as the customer care team just keeps the calls on hold for 40-50 mins and then come ip with their pet dialogue “give us the time for 48 hours”. I have never witnessed any organization which is so unprofessional.
