Airtel Canceling Sim card, bought a new Sim card last year in the month of September 2017.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I had a bought a new Sim card last year in the month of September 2017.
As I'm an NRI, I use it when I come back home.
When I bought this Sim at Airtel office, hampankatta, near AB shetty circle. The sales personnel of airtel told me to keep the sim active atleast once in 3-4 months by methods of texting, making outgoing calls or recharging.
Last usage on this Sim card bearing number +91 70221 78156, was on 23rd March 2018 which was an outgoing text msg.
Today, 17th May 2017 when I tried using the sim, it had been deactivated by Airtel.
On enquiring with Airtel, they said it has not been active since 60days so the number has been given to some other customer.
This incident has not only happen to me before this is the second time and always this is their reply.

As a citizen of India, I need help to challenge this blatant cheating by these telecom giants.

The amount here may be minimal, but if I let this go the second time in the last two years then it is not right.
