Billing for service charge @ 12% over GST of 18% - TGI Friday's

Hi,

I had visited this restaurant called TGIF ( Thank god its friday) on 15.07.2017. we had ordered some food. The total bill amount had come to Rs. 1055. We were charged 18% Gst ( 9% CGST & 9% SGST) which is correct as per mandate. But on top of that we were billed for another 12% on Rs. 1055 as service charge which is something i fail to understand.It seemed like i was being cheated to pay more. I would like to file this complaint against the service provider and therefore seek your assistance in clarifying this.
