Issuance of wrong policy and non receipt of policy, PNB, Sonipat Branch

On 27th July 2016, when I went to PNB, Sonipat Branch,Murtal Road, Sector 14, Sonapat, I was approached by Mr. Ajay, Sales Executive of PNB Met life and the Branch Manager to take PNB Met life policy. Mr. Ajay explained to me the features of PNB Smart Platinum Policy and tried to convince me to re-invest the FD maturity amount in the said Policy, which was a Unit Linked Insurance Plan. As a good salesman, he smartly gave me a brief presentation about the features of the said Policy and finally was able to convince me to make an investment in the said Policy. Apart from other features, he explained to me that the I will have to make an annual investment of Rs.55,000/- per annum for a period of 5 years and shall be entitled for an annual interest of 12% per annum and the policy will mature after 5 years, purportedly better than an investment in a Fixed Deposit. Based on their promise I paid two instalment of Rs. 55000/- each. However, I did not get the policy document. After lot of pursuation, I got only Whatsapp screen shot of the policy which speaks completely different terms than explained to me by Mr. Ajay. This is not acceptable to any consumer and they should not cheat the senior citizens like me. I want my money back with penal interest as applicable.
