I am writing to bring to your attention a distressing situation involving IDBI Bank Rewari Branch, wherein they have placed a lien of Rs. 149,000 on my account due to a fraudulent transaction. Upon thorough investigation and reviewing the official complaint letter, it has come to my notice that only Rs. 30,000 is disputed, while the bank has erroneously imposed a lien on the entire amount.
I humbly request the Consumer Court's intervention to address this issue promptly. I urge you to instruct IDBI Bank Rewari Branch to release Rs. 119,000 immediately, keeping only the disputed amount of Rs. 30,000 on lien until the complaint is resolved satisfactorily. This incorrect imposition of the lien has caused me immense financial hardship, and I am unable to access my funds for essential expenses.
