American Tourister Backpack warranty service issue

I had bought an American Tourister Backpack with 18months warranty but unfortunately within 6 months of purchase it’s shoulder strap foam/cushion was torn out and dislocated inside the strap. I had dropped my bag at their Samsonite store for service but after 6days they informed me that it was not a workmanship or quality issue.
After repeated request they are not ready to provide any service support for under warranty product. They knew that the problem is inside the strap and for that they have to give the replacement so they are refusing.
But this is purely a workmanship & quality issue as it is inside the strap due to poor foam quality and not proper fixing of foam within the strap. I request the replacement as per their warranty statement.
