• I have booked a flat B1104, 11th Floor, Lodha Panacea, behind D mart, Next to Jain Temple, Off Dombivali-Manpada Road, Bhopar, Dombivali (East) 421 204 in October 2018. Booking amount of ₹2,56,000 paid in November 2018.
• I was ready with Bank Sanction to make further payment after registration of flat. But registration activity delayed from builder end for near about 7 months during which validity of sanction letter got expired.
• I was following up with builder for registration and was answered every time that it will be done soon. Builder conveyed me through mail that I will be given 30 days time to make further payment after registration.
• In May 2019, I received mail to make payment of ₹3,22,000 for registration to third party called Sai Enterprises. I decided to wait & enquire about this third party, after which I made registration payment in July 2019, submitted documents for registration on 15th July 2019 after which I received formal mail regarding completion of registration on 23rd July 2019.
• I was under impression that I will be given 30 days time to make further payment after 23rd July 2019 onwards and I applied for fresh bank sanction.
• But builder called me on 31st July 2019 and told me to make payment of ₹20 lacs on 31st July itself otherwise interest would be charged from 1st August 2019 onwards.
• No such information about 31st July 2019 was given prior to registration purposefully.
• I tried to make their attention towards 30 days time period offered by them through mail but builder didn’t followed his own commitment and charged unfair interest of ₹9 thousand. I request you to kindly look into this matter and do needful.
