Cheating with fake information

To whom ever it may concern:
I am working for one IT company, due to some LOS ( loss of signal ) issue in hathway wifi box was unable to use internet past one week. Called to customer care more than 100 times but not use. So decided to take new connection and searched in Google got one hathway connection number and called them. He said new connection will be provided with in 48. Their interest was completely on money. It's more than 5 days today. No responce no internet. When I keep calling him he says yes we are doing it.
Government had given permission that to check and see issues related to network internet base. If this is the case with such fraud people how can we work?
