Dear Sir,
I have purchased an Onida Live Genius LEO40FAIN 101.60 CM (40 inches) online from Shopclues.com vide order No: 91008538. The payment of Rs. 32,544/= was done by net banking on 01.05.2016. The product was delivered to me on 11th May 2016 by Fed Ex Courier. I informed the Onida Customer Care for installation and demo, the same day. The technician reported on 14th May 2016 for installation and demo. That is when we discovered the damaged packing. As the technician connected the TV to the mains, we found a completely damaged Display Panel as well.
We reported the matter to Shopclues.com immediately in the presence of the Technician. We lodged a return request the same day (14th May 2016), to which Shopclues.com replied on 18th May 2016, that their return policy is valid only for two days for defective/damaged products.
In fact, their SMS for installation and demonstration was received on 14th May 2016 after I lodged the return request.
Only a technician could detect the damage of the Display Panel that too at the time of installation. The technician reported only on the third day of arrival of the TV, which is not at all my fault.
Hence I request to make necessary arrangements for full refund of the amount of Rs. 32,544/= at the earliest.
Early action in this regard will be highly appreciated.
