Government Complaint Date: October 1, 2023
Sub:- Regarding objection against proposed re-survey and further acquisition of land area by changing and diverting the direction of Kashipur area for construction of four line Road under Bharatmala Project from Silchar Rongpur via Kashipur upto Lailapur Bhaga.

Dear Sir,
With reference to the subject cited above, the execution of the said project survey and acquisition was published on newspaper on 10/01/23. The Concerned Engineer and other officials visited the practical field area and completed the survey followed by pillaring work and thereafter land documents have been collected which is self explanatory.

That Sir, On dtd. 09/08/23 by visiting the NH Department Office, some local inhabitants of Kashipur came to know that due to an objection of one family member on issuing of a graveyard, the existing survey is going to change. If the proposed survey is changed and the re-survey is initiated by attracting the land of majority and also by demolishing the newly initiated construction of houses and shops then many families of the village compelled to left out of the village. The Govt. of India has acquired land through departmental survey for Bharatmala project many temples, mosques, graveyards fall under the final survey for development of the people. It was heard that temples, mosques, churches and graveyards etc. were not excluded for this project; they could not change the direction of the road project. Only one family is very much interested to save the one family graveyard There is no any matter of grave yard; it’s only the matter of personal benefit If the direction of the road is changed by resurveying, people will suffer irreparable losses and the estimated amount will be increased which will lead to loss of the government.
In view of the above, you are requested to kindly look into the matter for construction of four line road and not to initiate further any re-survey as mentioned.
Thanks & Regards.
