Not Crediting Interest of 2RDs of Rs 2 lacs for 1 year 1 Month

Dear Sir, I have opened 2 RDs having number 41497739776 and 41497793734 on 13 Dec-22 for Rs. 2.0 lacs each. On 13 th Jan -24 both the RDs are closed and principle amount is deposited in my savings bank account number 20014716407, but interest amount is not deposited. When I check with my local branch they said that interest was deposited and full amount is deducted as penalty, how penalty amount should be such high? So I am requesting you to do the needful to deposit the interest amount to my SB account
