This complaint is against the company - HATHWAY Broadband. The company disributed it's connection brochures in our locality and after going through the same I called their Sales rep on 26th June to enquire & get the connection. The Sales rep was in our locality & he immediately came . He showed the plan and i paid Rs 2586 fr 3 month plan vide CITI Bank cheque no 427950 dated 27.6.16. The Sales rep cnfd that the Installation would be done latest by 27th. He also showed me the list of people in my locality who already had connection. I waited and the connection has not happened till date. I called their service helpline on 011-46085777 several times but no answer. My cheque got cashed also by 29th June & payment credited to them. I got message that my account has been generated with ID 1107805058 and user name & password BUT noone visited fr Installation. Having fed up, I wrote to their Appellate on 30th June with all details. Again no answer & when I reminded them again, I got a reply that since my area has no connection, the Installation is terminated & REFUND will be done after 45 days. This is absolute CHEATING. If there is no connection, Why was the advertisement done, why was the booking taken & why was the cheque encashed. I ould request you to take strong action against this company fr cheating customers
