COMPLAINT AGAINST THE DEPARTMENT OF SBI CARD FOR CHARGING UNDUE AMOUNT AND ALSO FOR IMPOSING THE HID

An amount of Rs 36181.99 was due against me towards SBI Card in the month of Nov 2023 with the due date of payment i.e. 25 Nov 2023 as mentioned in the Statement of the Nov 2023. An amount of Rs. 36182.00 was paid online by me on 23 Nov 2023 i.e. before due date 25 Nov 2023. Via auto debit system, department of SBI Card deducted the due amount on 25 Nov 2023 (which was already paid) , and was dishonored due to insufficient funds into the my bank account. Against which and amount of Rs. 723.64 was charged by the department to me against Payment Dishonor Fee. Whereas, the due amount was already been paid by me on 23 Nov 2023. Entry of receipt of the same by the department has also been reflected in the Payment History of the portal (screen shot attached). I contacted to the customer care of the department several times, where I was told that "AS PER THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT, THE DUE AMOUNT HAS TO BE PAID BY THE CUSTOMER 05 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DUE DATE OF PAYMENT". Whereas, nowhere the said condition has been mentioned in the Statement and also due date is being mentioned by the department itself on each statement, then why customers are being cheated by implementing their hidden conditions.
