NOT GETTING REFUND OF THE CANCELLED BOOKING FROM CLEARTRIP

I have booked a hotel through cleartrip.com (Trip ID: 16011210236) for amount Rs. 16,871/- on January 12, 2015. The booking was done under free cancellation policy.
On January 14, 2015, I received a call from customer service of cleartrip, for expressing their regret for inability to provide the accommodation at the hotel booked by me, instead they offered to provide alternative accommodation with an incentive of refunding Rs. 2871/- as a token.
I have accepted the alternative accommodation provided by cleartrip, subsequently I have received the refund of Rs. 2871/- on the same day.
On 07th Feb, due to change in my travel plans, I have cancelled my above booking.
As per the terms and conditions under free cancellation policy, I am eligible to get refund of entire amount.
However, cleartrip is not agreeing to refund the money, giving absurd excuse that since I have accepted the alternative accommodation hence terms and conditions pertaining to the original booking made by me is void.
I would like to make it very clear that I haven’t amended any booking myself, neither have I agreed to change in any terms and conditions of the original booking.
Hence, I request the Hon’ble forum members to help resolve the issue and also allow additional compensation on account of harassment by Cleartrip.

    I had booked group ticket from Cleartrip app bearing Cleaetrip ID no. 16012743616.I had cancelled two persons ticket from this.It is going to complete about three months still the company does not refund the cancelled amount. Please take necessary step in this regard to give justice.
