Dezigner/sofa italia/instyle /kunal thakkar Cheated us with delivery of broken sofa

I had booked a 3+1+1 sofa set from m/s dezigner furniture & interiors on september 03, 2017 in an exhibition hosted at surya palace, vadodara after seeing a good quality of sofa kept in the exhibition. I had paid an advance of rs.15000/- by credit card. The total price of sofa was fixed at rs.39, 500/-. I was promised that the delivery of the sofa will be made in 3 weeks by above mentioned company. However, after several follow-ups over phone (Over hundred calls), i received sofa set on 16th october 2017 (3 weeks late). The tempo driver who came to deliver the sofa took the balance payment (Rs.24, 500/-) first as instructed by his superiors before handing over the sofa. When i opened the packed sofa at my home, i found that quality of sofa is worst. The finishing is not good and parts have come off. Very low-quality wood (Card board type material) has been used. The supplied sofa is not even worth of rs.10000/-. There is a big difference between quality of sofa kept in exhibition and one received by me.

I informed about this to dezigner owner-abdul and manufacturing in charge - raju khan. But, the response was not good. Abdul was not ready to accept his mistake and argued with me even after sharing the bad quality photos of sofa on whatsapp. He even spoke rudely over phone. I need my money back. This is big cheating.

Looks like the sofa company dezigner furniture & interiors is fraud and all it's personnel are cheaters. Beware that these are a group of individuals who sell furniture with different company names. They show good quality product in exhibition across india and deliver worst quality product after taking money.

It would be very helpful if this consumer helpline supports me to recover my money paid to the dezigner furniture & interiors and investigate in detail about ongoing fraud.
