Subject: Regular breakdown of electricity for around 4-5 hours everyday by CESC LTD. and charged too much amount for very low electricity

Respected Sir,

I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities that there is frequent breakdown of electricity in Howrah Pilkhana. People of my area and particularly people having same electricity face as mine, are facing great difficulty because of it like unable to prepare for College Exams.

The water supply is also connected with electricity supply. So if there is uncertain breakdown of electricity, the result of it can be seen on water supply. The flow of our taps slows down. So people get less quantity of water.

Students who are preparing for their examinations face great difficulties because of it. They are unable to make their study plans. This creates frustration among them. They suffer mood problems. All this affects their performance in examination.

The patients who are getting their treatment in different hospitals also face many difficulties. Their operations are not happening on time. This increases their diseases. The fans of the hospital are not moving. So patients feel great pain in their body.

The events of theft are increasing in this locality. The thieves get chances of stealing in the darkness of night created because of the breakdown of electricity. So there is a kind of fear among people in this locality.

Hence I request to the concerned authorities to look into the matter and take necessary actions to stop the breakdown of electricity in this locality. Also I had try to reach the Howrah Regional Office Grievance Department but they were not available to answer the call.

We normally use very less electricity basically 2 fan and 2 light in the house. but still our unit consumption shown was 276 around. please help us and guie us what to do
