As per the NATIONAL CONSUMER DISPUTES REDRESSAL COMMISSION

REVISION PETITION NO. 3477 OF 2016 an appeal against The State Commission who has also observed that once it has come on record
that the MRP of the product includes all taxes, it was not open for the trader to impose VAT
again on the discounted price.
However during the sale period in Jan.2017 the above Adidas franchisee has misrepresented and taken additional VAT against the court order passed in a similar case, when highlighted they have denied to refund the same and are cheating innocent customers.
