Non refund of the cost of defective goods by AMAZON website complain

I paid through net-Banking Rs. 1940.00 to AMAZON on 6/04/2016 for a doll.The consignment was delivered on 8/04/2016.
After opening the packet I found that the material was sub-standard and defective. I reported the matter to AMAZON, through their web-site on 8/04.2016 and demanded refund of Rs. 1940.00 as per their refund policy.
Since then I have reminded them several times but till date AMAZON has not made the refund
The goods purchased under order no.402-0078211-7989902
