Snapdeal is not returning money in return to bad product

I had purchased a mouse from snapdeal online.
When I checked mouse in system then it was not working properly. Mouse wheel was not working at all.
I returned Mouse by giving this reason.
Courier-man came to my home and he checked my product and found same that it was not working properly.
He took it back and give me slip in return.
I am shocked, when I got a call from snapdeal and he said that he got broken Mouse.
I said him that its wheel was not working properly that is why I returned.
He said that I cannot get return money.
Please help me
