Faulty printer sold by HP, customer service department complaint

I am writing this mail to you in utter desperation and anger. I have been running from pillar to post to get my in warranty HP printer work but there is no help from HP customer service department. I purchased my HP printer in October 2016 with great expectations but have not been able to use it till now.
One of the HP technician did visit my place once and rectified the issue however soon after he left the printer again developed issues. I had written to one Mr. Amarjit Yadav of HP service center. He called me and said not to write such mails and he will personally visit my place to rectify the issues with my printer. Till date he has not visited nor answering my calls.
Now my printer is not working at all. I had tehn written to the service head of HP. I did get a mail from the HP service head that their team at Delhi will resolve my concern. I had duly informed the Deli based HP team that I was sold a defective printer which has not worked since I purchased it so I need refund with compensation. But they have rejected my refend request and insist on repair only.
I am not ready for another repair as HP is only trying gain time and by this dillydalying they want my one year warranty preiod to expire.
I have lost faith in HP.I did not expect this kind of a treatment from a reputed brand like HP. I could have easily gone for other brand but still chose HP. Perhaps that's the biggest mistake.
I believe that I was given a defective piece and that's the reason it is not working since I had purchased it.
I want a refund of the printer price along with compensation for mental harassment with interest.
