Godrej AC Condenser damaged in less than 3 years

I had purchased Godrej AC on 08.03.2014. In February 2017, the AC stopped cooling. The technician who attended the complaint declared that the condenser tubing was damaged and that I need to spend close to Rs. 10,000/- to repaid the same.

I had paid an amount of Rs. 39,490/- and had presumed that i was buying an AC with Copper tubing as the amount was abnormally high for a 1.5 Ton AC. Moreover, the labels on the AC called it 7 Star with the word performance written in small letters. Godrej misled me into buying an AC that was worth much less. Nowhere in the manual or the bill does it state anything about the AC having Aluminium tubing.

Now, in less than 3 years, the AC had stopped working and I am expected to pay a hefty bill of Rs. 10,000/- to repair the AC. If the Aluminium tubing was designed to fail, why wasnt the same mentioned anywhere in the manual or the AC?
