Hello ,
This is mrs nida siddiqui residing in sadar bazar house no 1473 pan mandi gali chulhe wali,
i am writing to you in concern ofme opening an account of my daughter who is studying in victoria girls senior secondary school.
The government of nct of delhi has a scheme where they are giving a girl child of the school some monetory benefits .by making some direct transfer of funds in their accounts. for which they are issuing letter to the bank to open an account for the student.a letter from the yojna addressing the manager of state bank of india was given to me, which i took it to sbi sadar bazaar branch and there i met mr shahnawaz ahmed (manager sbi) i was told by the school that its a zero balance account ..but the manager said its not possible with a zero balance,,i need to deposit 5000 rupees,, but if u intend to do so then there will be charges levied on the account and was not sounding very helpful
kindly look into the matter
