I have LG Split AC 1 ton for which I got renewed my AMC on 29.05.2015 for the period of three year by making payment of Rs. 7736/=
I did a compliant in July 2015 of malfunction of display device I was told that the part is not available and also it does not affect operation, so please bear with us.
Now I had made compliant for no cooling on 30.04.2016 vide complaint number RNA 160430048181 and it was closed arbitrary mentioning Reason Duplicate Registration.
Further I make compliant on 5th May, 2016 vide Complaint no RNA 160505081884 pending for resolution. Now again I was told that part is not available with us and we will give you some discount if you buy another LG A.C. and in case you don't buy LG product than no compensation will be given in any case.
It is gross violation of consumer rights and a case for submission the complaint at Consumer Forum.
I had discussion with LG service centre representative he offered some compromising formulas but refused to give in writing ,
Moreover I could not understand under what clause of AMC the company instead of maintaining my AC giving different alternatives verbally.
Please provide service AC immediately till the issue resolved
I have been compelling by LG to buy another AC of LG make than in lieu of AMC payment and current AC we will give discounts of Rs 11576/- as I had paid 7736/- for AMC charges and cost of scrap value of A.C.
This is unethical practice adopted by LG the cost of part including gas charging is about Rs.8000/- the company does not willing to maintain my AC as per contract as it remain not profitable to LG.
I have requested them several time but they say we can do the mentioned discount if you buy LG new AC as compensation against non fulfilling of AMC commitment.
it is very unfair and harassing for the consumer
I am fed up with the attitude of LG .
I feel harrassed and cheated by buying and having LG product.
I am not intended to buy another LG AC as I fear such problems will arise in future and I may suffer again in future.
In spite of my humble repeated requests you don't bother to respond and resolve my issue.
I get phone calls and it was promised that we will revert you soon but nothing happens on last 20 days and I continue to suffer hardship in the extreme summer since last 20 days.
Kindly intervene in the matter.
