I, Mythreyee Baratam, have applied for passport in the month of march this year and the application number is HY2069204014116.
As my stay in the past year includes two addresses (Hyderabad and Srikakulam) the police verification is done at two locations.
I have got a message on my mobile that passport verification is clear from hyderabad.
Regarding verification from Srikakulam in Andrapradesh, when I contacted the local passport verification cell, they said that verification is clear from their end they had sent the report to Visakhapatnam RPO. They also provided the report dispatch details as given below.
[[s.b.c no - 2050/2016; dispatch outward reg no - 29; Physical PIR scanned and uploaded on 21/4/2016]]
-- This implies that the police verification is clear from both the locations.
However, right now the issue is while checking the application status on passport.nic.in site, it says that "Police Verification Report is not clear and application is under review at Regional Passport Office."
Could you kindly look into this issue. I tried contacting Hyderabad RPO contact numbers but could not get connected to those numbers whenever tried calling, hence writing this mail you.
Kindly help in looking this matter.
I have sent an email to rpo.hyderabad@mea.gov.in on 30May16 bit still no response.
