Dear Sir/Madam,
This is truly an unexpected experience to the undersigned by an esteemed company like M/S IFB INDUSTRIES LTD.
Before purchasing a new Microwave Oven, I got information from every corner that IFB is No.1 Brand for this product.
Based on the review, I purchased an IFB Microwave Oven (Model : 25BC3, Serial No: 15000905)worth Rs. 11,800.00 on 25.01.2014.
In Aug’2014 under it’s warranty period, it had got the problem in Control Panel and the touch buttons were not working at all. The company persons came and told that the Control Panel has to be replaced. We request him to replace the oven, since it was very new & not working at all. He replaced the control panel and insisted us to purchase one external Electrical Cut Out worth Rs. 1200.00 to avoid the problem in future and we purchased the same even the oven was on it’s warranty period.
Again the same problem occurred in Aug’2015. This time also the newly replaced Control panel was not working. The company person come and again replace the Control Panel by Charging Rs. 2260.00.
Our patience lost when again the Start Button of the Control panel again failed to work in Feb’2016. This time again company person came & told us to replace the existing Panel with button system which will approximately cost Rs. 2000.00. But we refrained to do so since we have already expend Rs. 3500.00 for repairing of the oven worth Rs. 11,800.00 and the repairing become recurring.
My question to M/S IFB INDUSTRIES LTD. are
1. Why not such a defective product was made to sell by the company.
2. Why not the defective product was replaced during warranty period even after repeated request.
3. How the company will compensate my loss of around Rs. 14,300.
