My atm transaction failed date 20 aprl 2018 .
Then next day i have a raised a complaint at palwal syndicate bank &
This is my home brach. After few days bank replied that your transaction successful.
After one month i have raise complaint to consumer help line.
Those guied me that send a mail to nodal officer of syndicate bank.
Then sent a mail to syndicate bank nodal officer. After 15 days I have a reply to mo plz conact your branch. So as follow this instructions I conact to branch but i have received same reply that your transaction is complete
Afte one day i again call to consumer help the guide me plz send a written latter for RBI Chandigarh.
According to cunsumer help line guied i have sent a written latter to rbi Chandigarh.
& say to plz wait 45 days.
After approximately 60 days.
I have received reverse amount 10000 successful.
To my compositions regarding to this processing
"RBI says that at 27 may 2011 PUBLISHED NEWS THE HINDU"
The Reserve Bank today directed banks to reimburse customers for amounts wrongfully debited from their accounts in failed ATM transactions within seven days of an account holder's complaint or else pay a Rs 100 per day compensation.
"The time limit for resolution of customer complaints by the issuing banks shall stand reduced from 12 working days to seven working days from the date of receipt of customer complaint," the RBI said in a notification.
Failure to re-credit the amount within seven working days will require the issuing bank to pay a compensation of Rs 100 per day, it said.
Earlier, banks were required to reimburse customers for amounts wrongfully debited from their accounts in failed ATM transactions within 12 days
