I have account in HDFC bank Mumbai branch. I have tried to close account bank people say it is good to have Zero Balance in account. once I make it zero they make some additional issues which cause them unable to close account.
Due to zero balance Now my account running in -7000 approx.
Last week I went to bank for waveoff this amount. I will open an FD in return. Bank officials told you need to pay - balance.
So, Do I need to pay -tive balance amount to bank or some are guidlines on zero balance.
