Vodafone postpaid to prepaid application, along with submission of necessary documents and payments were done on 13 July, 2019 at a Vodafone Store in Vadodara. The store assured activation of the new SIM card within 02 working days. It has been 17 days since then - after calling the customer care numerous times and visiting the store twice more, the SIM has not yet been activated. I am being charged bills for each passing day and made to make the payments for "better and prompt" processing of my request. However, I do not receive any calls or updates from them like they keep mentioning in their messages. They even claim that I was unavailable when they tried to call me, although I see no missed calls on my phone.
This has been a long term trend with Vodafone, where they harass customers like this, whenever the customer wishes to switch from Postpaid to Prepaid.
