Delayed Delivery by Bluedart Courier

3.  I had sent Bank documents through Bluedart Courier, from Trivandrum to Bangalore on 05 Dec 15 vide Bluedart AWB No 39918524586I. These documents were to reach Trident Auto Ent Ltd, Lower Palace Orchards, Sadashiv Nagar, Bangalore as soon as possible because my car registration was held up. I paid Rs 410/-for the service to Bluedart as agaist much cheper options because the documents were required to reach the consignee at the earliest.


4.  Bluedart, Vellayambalam informed me that documents will reach the consignee on 07 Dec 15(AN). However, the documents have not reaced the consignee till now. I have tracked the consignment and it has reached Yashwantpur hub of Bluedart on 07 Dec 15, but not delivered till now. In five days the consignment would have reached by ordinary post. The delay  has caused me undue anxiety and resulted in finacial loss to me to the tune of Rs 500/- on account of petrol charges to visit Bluedart office in Trivandrum and tele calls to all and sundry.


5. Person responsible for the delay must be penalised, and as a token I should be compensated by Bluedart. I demand a compensation of Rs 5000/- only immediately. Any increase in the car price that may occur due to such delay between 07 Dec 15 and the date of delivery will also have to be borne out by Bluedar.
