I purchased Sony Bravio TV in 2012 for an amount of Rs 54000 and got defective in 2015 itself with some horizontal lines appearing at the lower end .The details of the product is as under

Despite of my repeated emails , no action has been taken till date .I am being informed by the customer care centre executive one or another vague excuse not to replace free of cost . It is worth mentioning here and to bring to your notice and urgent attention that the Product got defective( appearance of horizontal lines ) within a period of 03 years i.e 2015 itself and when I contacted the sony customers care centre , I was told that it is minor defect probably some voltage issue and contact us when the defects increases further . After few months the defect further increased to 20% and then stayed for some months. To my utter surprise in 2016 suddenly defect lines covered 70% the screen within 20 days with red and blue screen both horizontally and vertically so again I contacted sony customer centre .and reply was get the part replaced for approxiamte cost of Rs 18,484 /-which is totally unjustified, unreasonable and unbelievable . and should be replaced free of cost rather than asking for money for defective product Had been the product from some Chinese company , I would have never bothered as the quality is not their USP .
I even wrote to the Managing Director but no action was taken and grievance was not resolved till date
