Sir,
I purchased Kodak TV on Amazon on May-30-2020 and delivered on June-02-2020. TV stopped working on 20th June, Called Amazon and asked for a refund. They denied. Asked for replacement, They denied and asked me to reach Kodak Service as the issue came after 10 day replacement period which ended on June 12.
The Kodak customer care was not easily accessible, I called 20-30 times, the line was busy and dropped several times. When connected(June 21), I was asked to produce an Invoice and told a service Id would be provided in 24 hours. i did not receive it and called again June 23 and got the complaint ID 2312975. Kodak refused to replace and asked to reach out to amazon. Kodak said they will only give a warranty service. A technician visited home and took photographs of TV and left and didn't inform me about the time it takes. I got mutltiple rescheduled intimation of technician visits again. I called the Kodak care, informed them and they said it will take a few days, I asked them to reply the same over email, which I didn't receive till now. I am clueless about what happens now.
Though they may say the issue came after 10 day replacement period, it is not at all like 1 year after the delivery. I had the issue on 18 the day of delivery only to be precise. The problems I am facing to get my issue served made me lose trust in both brands.
The agents of Amazon and Kodak both are not empathetic towards my concern. Please help me, Sir
I have registered a grievance on National Consumer Helpine also with id :2078240
As per the updates on the portal, The NCH agents also mailed the company but the company did not reply to them also.
It has been more than 3 weeks since the product stopped working.
